A month-long holiday celebration is on tap as the North Lake Tahoe communities of Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nev., bring back the Northern Lights festival that offers over 20 free events, and more, to locals and visitors alike November 30 – December 31, 2017.

The Northern Lights celebration that was hosted on Lake Tahoe’s north shore in the early 1990s is returning in full force to boost local event attendance as well as attract tourists during this traditionally slow time of the year (in the first part of December).

Highlights of the festival’s numerous events include a Community Christmas Mixer, Tahoe Film Fest, Pray for Snow Party, Santa Crawl, The MESSIAH presented by TOCATTA Tahoe Symphony, Brunch with Santa, Diamond Peak’s Kick-Off Celebration, Holiday Craft Fair and Community Holiday Celebration. The Crystal Bay Club and Tahoe Biltmore will host concerts throughout December.

For a complete list of events, and lodging specials, visit the festival’s website at NorthernLightsTahoe.com, contact the Incline Village Crystal Bay Visitors and Convention Bureau at (800) GO TAHOE (468-2463), or stop by the Visitors Center at 969 Tahoe Boulevard in Incline Village.

Northern Lights Tahoe is an all-volunteer, not for profits, festival funded in part by the Incline Village Crystal Bay Visitors and Convention Bureau, Incline Community Business Association, NV Energy, and Travel Nevada.
