For the entire month of November, Community Health Alliance is hosting a sock drive for homeless patients at its Record Street Health Center.

Donate unused socks at any of the following locations:

  • Sierra Air Heating and Cooling, Inc
  • Sport Clips – Sparks
  • Baked Bear – Sparks
  • Baked Bear – Reno

Socks are important to help keep feet warm but are also crucial for our homeless patients struggling with foot wounds and diabetes.

Warm feet help those with diabetes monitor loss of sensation in the toes, which is one of the first indicators that one’s diabetes is not sustained.
