Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is offering class on “Indian Cooking.” It is open to the public.
The class is four sessions taught from 6 to 7:30 pm on Tuesdays, starting January 26 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4895 South McCarran Boulevard.
Tuition is $79, with discount available for seniors, plus a $20 materials cost.
Staple foods eaten today in India are said to have been cultivated there since about 6,200 BCE.
