Drive-By Shooting Victim Identified

Reno police are requesting the public’s assistance in the investigation of a drive-by shooting that occurred early in the morning on Sunday, December 6 at the 1800 block of Fife Drive.

When officers arrived to the scene of the shooting, they found a 19-year-old female, who had been shot, inside a residence.

Officers and medics attempted life saving efforts, and the victim was transported to Renown, but she succumbed to her injuries.

The victim has been identified as Myra Rodriguez.

Two other gunshot victims related to the shooting later showed up to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have been at the residence during the shooting, or who has any additional information about this case, is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at (775) 334-2188, or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900, www.secretwitness.com.

Secret Witness is offering a $2,500 reward for any information leading to an arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
