Lt. Govenor – Elect Mark Hutchison resigns Senate post to serve as Lt. Gov.

Hutchison officially vacated the office of State Senator representing Senate District No.6 as of 5 p.m. today in order to serve as Lt. Governor.

With his resignation the Clark County Commission will be able to move forward in a smooth and transparent manner to appoint a new state senator to represent the constituents of Senate District No. 6.
