School of Medicine to honor Native American Nevadans at Nevada Rural Health Day

block_n-6026698-4637283The University of Nevada School of Medicine will honor and recognize Native American Nevadans and those dedicated to their health at the annual National and Nevada Rural Health Day event, scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Pennington Medical Education Building at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Daryl Crawford, executive director of the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada, will be accepting recognition on behalf of the Nevada tribes.

The public and media outlets are invited to attend this annual celebration of health care professionals in rural Nevada.

Please register by Nov. 18 at http://ruralhealth.eventbrite.com; parking spaces will be reserved on campus near the Pennington Medical Education Building for those who register for this event by the deadline.
