Job fair Sunday: retailers at “The Summit” hiring for the holidays

With the busy holiday shopping season drawing near, retailers and businesses at The Summit will be interviewing worthy candidates seeking employment Sunday, September 28, from noon to 4 p.m. in Suite 602, next to Williams-Sonoma.

Nearly 20 retailers will interview or take applications including Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, Bebe, Buckle, Charming CHARLIE, Claire’s, Coach, GameStop, GAP, GNC, Gymboree, J. Crew, J. Jill, LOFT, Old Navy, Sephora, Talbots and Tilly’s.

Positions are open immediately and will continue through the holiday season with some positions continuing full-time. Available positions include entry level, managerial, part-time and full-time.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet employers who are hiring, identify career and seasonal employment opportunities and complete job applications.

This is a free event, and there will be no registration required for job seekers. It is recommended that people come with extra copies of their resume and dress professionally. For more information, call 775-853-7800.

Miriam Hodgman is originally from San Francisco. She previously was the communications coordinator for the largest hunger-relief organization in Sonoma County, California. She has a bachelor’s degree in American history, with a minor in American Indian studies, from San Francisco State University, and has a master’s degree in public administration from Sonoma State University. She enjoys training a variety of martial arts.
