Jan. 25 – 10:00 to 11:00 AM: Houseplants – Mother Nature’s Natural Air Cleaners
You can’t get any greener than this! Join Moana Nursery plant doctor and plant aficionado Lisa Braginton for this houseplant primer — we’ll discuss their benefits, basic care and pest control as well as propagation tips. This seminar is for houseplant newbies and experts alike.

January 25 – 1:00 to 3:00 PM: More Than Roses
Join Reno Rose Society consulting rosarians for a fascinating history of roses and their relatives. Dianne Stortz-Lintz, former city of Reno horticulturist, will discuss “Edible Roses” — plants and roses that can be eaten from your rose garden. Ann Marie Harris’s topic is “Roses, Fire & Ice” – where do roses come from? Whether you’re a rose lover or novice, you’ll not want to miss this seminar.

Both seminars are free and held at Moana Nursery, 1190 W. Moana Lane, in our Landscape and Design Center unless otherwise stated. Seminars begin promptly and last one hour unless otherwise noted. Please arrive 15 minutes early as seating is limited to 60 and is first come, first served. Visit www.moananursery.com or call (775) 825-0602 for more information.
