The community is invited to a multi-faith memorial service for Nelson Mandela at the Reno Buddhist Center, 820 Plumas St., Reno, at 2 p.m. today.
The service will include prayers and reflections by leaders from Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Baha’i and other religions. Randolph R. Calvo, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Reno, and Meryl Wynn, a relative of Mandela, are expected to participate.
