Five Wolf Pack players earn All-Mountain West honors

image001-2717053-4236785RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada football team placed five players on the All-Mountain West teams that were announce Tuesday by the league.

Senior tackle Joel Bitonio and junior defensive end Brock Hekking earned first-team honors for the Pack. Senior punter Chase Tenpenny was a second-team honoree while senior wide receiver Brandon Wimberly and junior defensive back Charles Garrett earned honorable mention.

The teams were voted on by the league’s head coaches and a selection of media members who cover the league.

This is the second-straight year of recognition for Wimberly and Hekking. Wimberly was a first-team honoree in 2012 while Hekking earned second-team honors last season.
