Event proceeds benefit Duwell Medical, which helps underprivileged people in Bangladesh who have limited medical care.

Tickets for the event are sold at the restaurant or online at duwell.eventbrite.com for $20, and $10 for students.

“The Reno community worked together supporting this international medical effort,” said Kowsar Khan, founder of Duwell Medical. “India Kabab and Curry’s participation is a reminder of how collective caring can go a long way.”

Duwell Medical uses all donations to bring standard medical care to Bangladesh.

Less than 300 hospital beds are available in the city with over 400,000 people. Exclusivity and limited healthcare resources cause Bangladesh to have high rates of malaria, leprosy and polio. Duwell Medical is working to build a new hospital to provide health education and give out mosquito nets for malaria prevention.
