Nevada art collector Wally Cuchine speaks at Comstock History Center August 3

VIRGINIA CITY, Nev. – The Comstock History Center welcomes renowned Nevada art collector Wally Cuchine to speak during a two-hour presentation on Saturday, August 3, from noon to 2 p.m. Cuchine will be discussing his love and talent for collecting Nevada art as well as each of the 35 pieces in Wally’s World: The Loneliest Art Collection in Nevada, an exhibit currently featured at the History Center.

WHEN: Saturday, August 3, from noon to 2 p.m.

WHERE: The Comstock History Center, 20 N. E Street, Virginia City, Nevada

WHO: The exhibit is curated by Jim McCormick and is organized by the Nevada Arts Council. It is part of the Nevada Arts Council’s Nevada Touring Initiative – Traveling Exhibition Program, and is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nevada State Legislature.

COST: The event is free of charge and participants are encouraged to bring along a brown bag lunch to enjoy during his presentation.
