Energy office director quits

GOVERNOR’S OFFICE NEWS — Governor Brian Sandoval today announced that Stacey Crowley, director of the Nevada Office of Energy has resigned effective July 26th, to accept a position in California.

“I am very proud of the work Stacey has done for the state of Nevada pursuing clean and efficient energy resources for Nevada,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “From her work nurturing relationships with neighboring states to boosting Nevada’s rich clean energy resources within the western regional market, Stacey has been an asset to my administration. I wish her the best of success with her new endeavor.”

“I am honored to have served in the Sandoval administration and been a part of expanding renewable energy throughout Nevada,” Stacey Crowley said. “I look forward to working with the Governor and his team going forward.”

The announcement of an interim Director of the Office of Energy will be forthcoming.
