RPD NEWS RELEASE
Reno Police Officers responded to the Keno Motel, 331 West St., this morning at approximately 3:50 a.m. on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a subject suffering from a gun shot wound to the chest. That subject was transported to Renown Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
Several other people were on scene, including a subject identified as the shooter. All these subjects were cooperative and spoke with investigators. No arrests have been made; however, at this time detectives are continuing their investigation.
The name of the deceased is being withheld until proper notification of next of kin can be made.
