LUNCH AID NEWS RELEASE – On Wednesday, February 13, you are invited by Lunch Aid to the biggest little fundraising event you don’t even have to attend. It’s the first ever Lunch Aid fundraising non-event.
Just give the price of one lunch, for one day online at www.lunchaid.org, or by texting HUNGER to 56512 on your smart-phone. If just one percent of our community gives $10, we can raise $40,000 to feed hungry men, women and children, right here in northern Nevada.

For further information visit www.lunchaid.org, or contact Kate High, 775-772-1267, [email protected].

Lunch Aid is a Nevada coalition of local food pantries, who are the essential last link in the food distribution chain to families living on the edge. By working together, we are increasing efficiency, reducing fundraising requests, and freeing up more funds to help get people back on their feet. We give food away for free, but we do have expenses – transportation, storage, staff, and most of all food.Ø
