Victor Yampolsky, Kayleigh Miller and the RCO Jan. 26-27

yampolskymiller-2294414-2602547Join us as guest conductor Victor Yampolsky leads the Reno Chamber Orchestra in its next performances of the 2012-13 season, coming up on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall.

Maestro Yampolsky – professor in music performance at Northwestern University, music director of the Peninsula Music Festival and former violinist and assistant conductor of the Moscow Philharmonic – conducts a program featuring the Pulcinella Suite by Igor Stravinsky as well as Mozart’s Adagio and Fugue and Symphony No. 40. The concert also features violist Kayleigh Miller, the winner of the RCO’s annual College Concerto Competition, performing Penderecki’s Viola Concerto.

Great seats are still available for both performances. As always, ticket prices range from $20 to $40 for adults, and everyone 18 and younger and all full-time students can attend for $5. Buy tickets online or by calling the RCO at (775) 348-9413.
