The Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) is an oversight committee made up of Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) customers. The group is currently accepting applications for two alternates to represent single-family residential customers and one alternate to represent senior citizens (62 and older). The committee reviews budgets, rate proposals and other items and provides feedback from the customer perspective. Findings and recommendations are presented to TMWA’s Board of Directors.
This volunteer committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. Those interested in serving on SAC must be TMWA customers.
Applications to serve as alternates on the committee can be submitted via letter or e-mail and must be received by Sunday, March 31. Applications should include the following:
- · Applicant’s name and contact information
- · Type of customer (residential or senior citizen, 62 and older)
- · Statement of interest in serving SAC
- · Any pertinent experience
