BE WINE VALENTINE NEWS RELEASE  – The Builders Association Charity (BAC) will be hosting its 6th annual wine tasting event, Be Wine Valentine, at the Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa, on Friday, February 8. Those in attendance will enjoy wine tastings, a diverse silent auction, and light dinner including appetizers and a carving station.

“The Builders Association Charity represents the ‘heart’ of the building industry,” said Mike Dillon, Executive Director of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. “The BAC has assisted hundreds of northern Nevadans since its inception, and fundraisers like Be Wine Valentine enable the Charity to continue these good works.”

Last year’s event raised over $18,000 for the charity. The BAC is a 501(c) 3 Tax Exempt Public Charity. Since 1998, through private donations, the Builders Association Charity has provided more than $500,000 in financial support and assistance to families all across Northern Nevada.

In early 2012, the Builders Association Charity realigned its mission statement in order to better serve the Northern Nevada Community. The BAC is dedicated, through the utilization of talents and gifts of the construction industry, to supporting Northern Nevada families and military.

“Whether it’s helping to build a home for a northern Nevada veteran who has been severely injured in service to our country or simply reaching out in response to a need within our community, BAC stands ready to fulfill its mission of assistance and support,” said Chad Felix, incoming Chairman of the BAC Board of Trustees.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser will again assist the Builders Association Charity in accomplishing its mission. The community is asked to please join in contributing to the efforts of the BAC to support these brave heroes and their families by purchasing a ticket. Tickets can be purchased at www.thebuilders.com for $50 in advance or $60 at the door.
