The Hot August Nights Foundation will have a coat drive from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Lawlor Events Center, 1664 N. Virginia St.

The foundation asks that all northern Nevadans help children in need and at risk by donating gently used or new coats.

The Hot August Nights Foundation, a registered 501 (c) (3) organization, creates an instrument for individuals and businesses who share the Foundation’s mission to work together, providing in-need or at-risk children with a more meaningful and productive life through the availability of continuing and higher education. The Hot August Nights Foundation members volunteer their time to provide vital resources, including scholarships and volunteer needs, while supporting a variety of educational and assistance programs.
