Grand opening of new Friends of Washoe County Library bookstore continues

library-logo-4096103-5290046Booksale Bonanza is now the Read Again Bookstore and has moved to a new location! The sale continues on Friday, Jan. 25, and will be open through Sunday, Jan. 27, at our new location in the Reno Town Mall next to the Sierra View Library (4001 South Virginia St.). The event is organized by the Friends of Washoe County Library to benefit public libraries.

“We are very excited to have a permanent home,” says Friends President Mary Jones.  “We invite the public to help us celebrate our new home and get some great deals on books for winter reading.”  At this sale, the Friends continue their bargain pricing, with most hardbacks $1 and paperbacks at 50¢.

Sale hours are as follows:

Friday, Jan. 25                                        9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 26                                   9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 27 Bargain Day        10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

On Bargain Day, you can purchase a bag of books for $6.  Of course, you can choose your own books! Collectible and specially priced books are also discounted.
