Saturday, Nevada finished in third with 4,626 points, Nebraska scored 4,642 to take second, and TCU finished first with 4,708. Clif Little and Hauani Akana shot strong in air rifle and Carmen Luke scored high in small bore.

Sunday, Nevada came in second place with 4,629 points, finishing just behind Nebraska with 4,708 points. Carmen Luke shot a personal best in small bore, while Olivia Pennell shot well in air rifle. The team’s previous record of 4,626 was set last weekend at a contest at UTEP.

The Wolf Pack will have a break in competition to prepare to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

“We have a total of six weeks in January and February to finish qualifying for the National Championships,” head coach Fred Harvey said. “This past weekend we took a giant step in that direction to qualify. The team has worked very hard and is looking forward to the break.”
