Js Old Town Bistro is involved in the surrounding community through fundraisers like the upcoming spaghetti dinner special to benefit the local food pantry. The restaurant also buys local produce in season from the nearby farmers market in Dayton. Pictured here, farmers market intern Cheyenna Burrows makes a delivery of local produce to Js.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but many people in our community are struggling this year and need your help. On October 25 between 4pm-8pm, for just $10.00 you can enjoy a spaghetti dinner with a salad at an elegant restaurant in the historic section of Dayton. Js’ Old Town Bistro will donate $5 for each spaghetti dinner sold to the Dayton Food Pantry. The money raised will go a long way to help our neighbors enjoy the holiday. No reservations are required.

Js Bistro is located on 30 Pike St in Old Town Dayton near the Community Center. Call Js at 246-4400 for more information. Dayton Food Pantry is a nonprofit partner group of Healthy Communities Coalition powered by community volunteers and local and regional donations, fundraisers and grants. The Pantry is opened Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm and located at the corner of 4 Enterprise Way and Highway 50 in Dayton.
