The Summit Lifestyle Center invites families to come out for a day full of autumn harvest fun at the Pink Pumpkin Fall Festival and Farmers Market on October 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in The Summit’s Pink Plaza. The event is part of a month-long series of events supporting breast cancer awareness and benefitting the Renown Health Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

Activities include pink pumpkins, a youth fall fashion show, a coloring contest, face painting, spooky stories and an autumn harvest photo scene. Participants can enjoy food and drinks from The Tuscan Tomato, local food trucks including DishTruck, Gourmelt and Kenji’s, and wine, beer and cider from L’uva Bella Wine Gallery. Also, all guests can enter to win prizes from The Summit, Renown Health and the farmers market. Each activity is individually priced from $1 to $5, or a pass for children 5 and up is $10 each. Cash only is accepted and all proceeds benefit the Renown Health Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

A farmers market will feature fresh, local fall produce including grapes, apples, corn, potatoes, garlic, onions and squash. Just in time for the holidays, fresh chicken, eggs and local honey will also be available for purchase through local, independent, family-owned farm, Rise and Shine Farms in Fallon, Nev.
