RENOWN NEWS RELEASE

Renown Breast Health Center is extending its offering of $100 mammograms for uninsured women, and $150 SonoCiné whole breast ultra sound screenings now until Dec. 31. The discounted screenings were initially offered through the end of October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But due to demand, any appointments scheduled before Dec. 31 will be granted the discounted price.

For women who have dense breast tissue, a mammogram combined with SonoCiné screening is recommended for early detection of breast cancer. Check with your doctor to see if you have dense breast tissue.

Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer and the fifth most common cause of death. Screening and self breast exams are imperative to all women and should be discussed with a doctor. Early detection saves lives, so schedule your screening today. Call 775-982-8100 or visit renown.org/breasthealth.
