Sophomore Nikki Prichard recorded her second top-10 finish of the year and third top-20 in as many weeks as she took eighth at the WSU Cougar Cup on Tuesday.
Prichard carded at 74 on Tuesday in the final round at Palouse Ridge Golf Course and shot a 3 over 219 for the 54-hole tournament.
Nevada shot 304 as a team on Tuesday and finished the tournament where it began the day – in eighth place.
Freshman Caryn Khoo shot 76 on Tuesday and tied for 30th at +13 with senior Louise Yi three shots back and tied for 40th.
Freshman Carly Simpson had a strong closing round on Tuesday with a 74 and she moved up to tie for 59th while sophomore Bethany Wurster tied for 68th.
Cal won the team title by five strokes over Gonzaga. Washington State’s Kristen Rue fired a 68 on Tuesday and won medalist honors.
Nevada, which has played three straight weeks, will now be off until Oct. 8-10 at the Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State.
