The Reno-Tahoe Open at Montrêux, one of the PGA TOUR’s only West Coast summer stops, offers golf fans and spectators ticket packages, discounts and specials for the 14th annual tournament, July 30-Aug. 5, 2012. With deals ranging from Clubhouse Season Passes, Good-Any-Day tickets, Mirassou Wine Walk tickets, free entry for active military and much more, the tournament offers fans a field of 132 PGA TOUR professionals competing for a $3 million purse and 250 FedExCup points at northern Nevada’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Course. Spectators can purchase tickets in advance at www.RenoTahoeOpen.com, by calling the tournament office at 775-322-3900 or at the Will Call during tournament week. In addition, reduced price tickets are available now at all northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe U.S. Bank locations with 100 percent of proceeds benefitting local schools through U.S. Bank’s Chip in For Schools program.
The following is information on each of the ticket options available for the 2012 Reno-Tahoe Open at Montrêux:
Good-Any-Day Tickets
General admission “Good Any Day” tickets are available for $20 in advance or at Will Call with free admission available to children 15 years of age and under accompanied by a paid adult. General admission tickets may also be purchased through participating schools that have partnered with the Reno-Tahoe Open’s Chip in For Schools initiative presented by U.S. Bank, giving 100 percent of ticket proceeds directly back to the school.
Military
Free admission into the tournament is available for all active duty military personnel with proper identification. In addition, the tournament hosts other events during tournament week including a Patriots’ Luncheon presented by Grand Sierra Resort, honoring those who serve in the military and benefiting in part the Nevada Military Support Alliance; the Patriots’ Outpost presented by Marigold Goldcorp, GE Energy and via Seating on the 9th green open to Guard, Reserve, Veteran and Active Duty personnel; a Static Display of military vehicles; an Appreciation Station, allowing visitors to send heartfelt letters of thanks to active duty service members; and a special Wounded Warrior Home Giveaway during Sunday’s Closing Ceremonies.
Reno-Tahoe Open Mirassou Wine Walk Tickets
Sample fine wines from California’s Mirassou winery at four stations throughout the course with the purchase of a $20 Mirassou Wine Walk ticket. Socialize and chat with friends while visiting each one of the tasting stations pouring a variety of red and white wines that are sure to satisfy any palette. Mirassou Wine Walk tickets do not grant tournament entry and may be added to any ticket package or a “Good Any Day” ticket. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at any Mirassou Wine Walk tasting station. Must be 21 or older.

Season and Clubhouse Season Passes
The Reno-Tahoe Open Season Pass is good for tournament-long admission Monday, July 30 through Sunday, Aug. 5 and is available for $65 online or at the gate. Come and go all week long including during the coveted Wednesday Pro-Am where autograph opportunities abound, as well as during tournament play and final round excitement. The Clubhouse Season Pass also includes access to the grounds each day of the tournament, as well as entrance into the exclusive Montrêux Clubhouse and its award-winning dining options (menu prices apply) with access to a prime spot on the outdoor patio for excellent viewing opportunities of the finishing hole. Rub elbows with the players and enjoy the best in accommodations with the Clubhouse Season Pass, available for $85.

If being away from a cell phone during the tournament presents a problem, fans can now stay in touch thanks to the PGA TOUR’s mobile device policy. The policy allows spectators to carry mobile devices on the golf course with the volume setting on silent. Spectators can make and receive phone calls and text messages at designated areas on course away from tournament play; however, video recording and photographs are not permitted during official competition rounds.
