CITY OF RENO NEWS RELEASE

The city of Reno is accepting proposals to lease a building in the former CitiCenter bus station.

The building, constructed in 1984, is at 40 East 4th St. The city is in the process of locating the Reno Police Department’s Downtown Enforcement Team into the south building and is soliciting a tenant for the 2910-square foot building on the north side of the property.

Amenities of the available building include four bathrooms, a large atrium area with a skylight, four small offices and exposed beams and windows fronting 4th Street. The National Bowling Stadium to the east and Reno Events Center and Ballroom to the north, along with a police presence, make this location ideal for creative business submittals.

The location available for lease closed in October 2010 when the Regional Transportation Commission constructed a new transit facility, the 4th Street Station, a few blocks to the east. The city of Reno purchased the site from the RTC and has recently cleaned up the grounds and opened the plaza area to the public..

Proposals should include an executive summary, a business plan including timeframe, necessary improvements and proposed lease rate. Requests for property tours may be made to the contact above or by calling 775.334.3813.

Proposals are to be postmarked by May 15, 2012, and should be directed to:
