Half-day workshop targeted for nonprofits just $30
In response to the 60 applications received for their public service campaign, Ad2 Reno is hosting a marketing workshop for area nonprofit organizations. The half-day workshop, which is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m., will cover a broad range of topics geared for helping nonprofit organizations with limited staff and resources.
The workshop, which will be held in the newly renovated Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, will raise funds for Ad2 Reno to provide more public service to the community for years to come. Tickets may be purchased at www.ad2reno.com for $30 or at the door for $40.
Speakers considered experts in their field will help attendees learn how to craft effective messages, get grants, leverage social media, and more. The keynote presentation will be given by Brian Williams, president and founder of Think Kindness, Ad2 Reno’s 2011-2012 nonprofit client.
