Spoken Views – THURSDAY!
The long-awaited return of Spoken Views is Thursday at Studio on 4th at 8pm (or 7pm for sign-ups) and features musical guest Memory Motel and host John Becker.  Go support, we promise you won’t regret it! And if you’re lucky, Stephon might sell you some of his famous fries. $5/8PM/Studio on 4th.

Casey Jones, Death Before Dishonor, Hundredth, Codexred – SATURDAY
Saturday, January 21 Casey Jones along with a slew of bands will be playing at the Holland Project for their last tour. Joining them is Death Before Dishonor, Hundredth, No Bragging Rights, and awesome locals Codexred. RAD! RAD! RAD! Walls is coming to The Holland Project… with True Radical Miracle on January 24th!!!!!!! Walls (featuring members of Iron Lung, Cold Sweat, and Lords of Light) is well thought out punk/noise rock, meeting somewhere between sparse ugliness and punk aggression. Joining them is True Radical Miracle from Australia. TRM will be jamming out very dense, awesome noise rock! NOTHING FROM AUSTRALIA IS BAD! And doing the local thing is Elephant Rifle, fresh from recording and tour, and The Indoors, fresh from always being really awesome. Scarf Crocheting Workshop
Nothing’s better for keeping your face warm during winter bike rides than a kick-ass scarf and here’s your chance to learn how to make your own. On Sat. Jan 28 at noon, Sarah Geo will be sharing the secrets on how to crochet a scarf. For $5 you will get hand-ons help and instruction as well as problem-solving techniques for a on-of-a kind scarf, not to mention the skill that will put you in the loop with grandmas and yarn bombers alike.
