STATEMENT FROM BOARD OF REGENTS CHAIRMAN JAMES DEAN LEAVITT
“The Board is in mourning as we contemplate the untimely passing of President Milton Glick. He had a beautiful mind and a gigantic heart. We offer our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his wife Peggy and their two sons. No one loved life or UNR more than Milt.”
The Board of Regents appointed Dr. Glick as the 15th president of the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2006 and assumed office on Aug. 1, 2006. More information about Dr. Glick’s distinguished career and upcoming celebration of life can be found at www.unr.edu.
