University of Nevada, Reno awards management certificates to 35 recipients in Nov.-Dec. 2010

Reno, Nev., Jan. 14, 2011 – Extended Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno has granted management certificates to 35 recipients, awarded during Nov.-Dec. 2010 in several professional development programs. Recipients completed all course requirements to earn full certificates in programs that include the University’s 10-course Human Resources Management and 10-course Supervisory Management certificates; the 33-hour Social Media Marketing certificate; the 45-hour Project Management Essentials certificate; and the 90-hour Gaming Management certificate.

Recipients of the University’s professional development certificates in human resources and supervisory management also earned credit hours through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), the organization that grants Professional and Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) designation worldwide. Extended Studies is an approved provider of courses that carry HRCI recertification hours.

13 recipients from states and countries where casino gaming is regulated, including Ariz., Colo., N.M., Minn., Okla., Wash., Canada, Hungary and Japan
