NEW!! Northern Nevada Medical Center Announces Opening of Inpatient RehabCenter

The new 8-bed unit, located on the 6th floor, offers physical, occupational and speech therapy to patients in need of rehabilitation in a hospital setting.

The team of physical, occupational and speech therapists can care for a number of conditions including:  stroke; brain injuries; spinal cord injuries; and neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease or muscular dystrophy.  Appointments:  775-356-4555.

  • Hemoglobin A1C for diabetics – $30,
  • Cholesterol/lipid profile – $20 or $25 with blood chemistry,
  • Prostate cancer testing – $35.
  • NEW tests for 2011 Health Fairs:
  • Vitamin D deficiency – $45;
  • Heart and vascular disease – $25.

For your convenience, the Northern Nevada Medical Group takes walk ins and same day appointments.  The group is accepting new patients.  We accept most of the area’s health plans, including Medicare.  Our physicians include:  family practice, internal medicine, geriatric medicine, sports medicine, and neurology.
