The permits can be purchased at the Winnemucca BLM District Office, 5100 East Winnemucca Blvd., Winnemucca, NV 89445-2921, or in Lovelock, at the Pershing County Farm Service Agency (FSA), 110 America Blvd.  An information sheet and map will be distributed with each permit.  Permits expire on Dec. 25, 2010.

To help keep your tree fresh, cut two inches from the bottom of your tree and place it in water.  Keep your tree watered and in a shady spot until you are ready to set it up.

For further information, please call Rob Burton at the BLM Winnemucca District Office, 775-623-1500, or Terry Godsworthy at the Pershing County FSA Office at 775-273-2922.
