Online Nevada Encyclopedia Goes Social

One LogoNevada’s online interactive encyclopedia has joined the social media fray with an announcement that it is now on Twitter. From the ONE site: “The Online Nevada Encyclopedia is a multimedia resource produced by Nevada Humanities that incorporates articles, images, and interactive media to explore the landscape, people, and events that have shaped the Silver State’s politics, economy, and culture.

“The Online Nevada Encyclopedia is a project of Nevada Humanities, a publicly funded non-profit organization dedicated to engaging Nevadans in the intellectual, cultural, and civic life of the communities in which they live, and to preserving and making accessible Nevada’s rich and unique history and heritage.

“Thanks to the generous financial support of project sponsors, ONE is available to anyone, anywhere with Internet access.

“ONE is an authoritative source of information thanks to the editors, contributors, and project partners who have generously shared their archival collections and expertise.”
