Harrah’s Reno is presenting TEASE, and adult rock review, in Sammy’s Showroom Saturday nights from now until the end of June. This is a rock ‘n’ roll dance program featuring five beautiful and gifted dancers performing choreographed routines to some of the most iconic songs of our time, among them songs by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd.

Besides the group routines, there are several smaller ensembles of one, two, or three dancers performing as well as specialty performances. Featherpistol (a.k.a. Lauralynn) shared some amazing acrobatic pole performances displaying incredible grace and strength (that’s pole dancing to some of you). Also performing some incredible specialty arts is Sarah Roulias on Double Hammock (aerial silks), and Lyra (aerial hoop).

Helping to keep the music thumping are vocalist Michele Heather, Las Vegas-area guitarist Andy Wasson, and Reno’s own Jay Larson on drums. The music makes a great backdrop for the heart-pounding performances in the show. Behind the stage is a huge video screen displaying images and graphics designed to evoke memories of when this music was fresh and ruling the airwaves. Images including the rock ‘n’ roll stars and their album covers.

Singer Michele Heather acted as a sort of emcee by coming out between segments and either singing or talking to the audience. There was also an audience participation air guitar segment she coordinated that was a lot of fun. Four audience members were given inflated guitars and took turns playing air guitar along with Andy Wasson’s guitar playing, and the audience picked the winner.

It was a very fun and entertaining evening. TEASE is billed as an adult revue because of the very sexy dance outfits and there are topless segments in the show. I’m happy to say it was not tawdry or sexual, but rather was sexy and scintillating. The whole thing was well done and a pleasure to experience.  Jessica Broyles and her Champagne Productions definitely know how to put a show together.

Showtime is 9:30 p.m. Saturdays through June 30. For tickets visit: https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-reno/shows
