Women’s March Draws Massive Crowd For The Second Year

The second annual women’s march today matched last year’s attendance by bringing a massive crowd to downtown Reno. Some estimates put the crowd size at the same or greater than last year’s estimated march of 10,000 attendees.

The event kicked off at the Bruce R. Thompson Federal Building, 400 S. Virginia Street. The march then began at Liberty and South Virginia streets, where Native Americans led the rally by dancing, chanting, and playing drums.
