VIDEO: Meet Tracey Oliver, Sierra Arts’ New Executive

The Sierra Arts Foundation has named Tracey Oliver as its Executive Director. Oliver is a native Nevadan, and first came to Sierra Arts summer of 2015 cataloging Sierra Arts art collection as a volunteer.

After deciding to leave her career in the airline industry to study art, Oliver received her associate’s degree in Fine Arts from Truckee Meadows Community College. She moved up in the Sierra Arts organization quickly becoming the Business and Special Events Associate.

“I’m a fourth generation Nevadan, and I’m very proud of our community and what the arts contribute to our region,” Oliver said. “I’m passionate about our commitment to teach, support and nurture our hard-working local artists.”
