Frequently Asked Questions about our subscription service

By Bob Conrad

To make it as fast and easy as possible for our readers to access content across our site, we have partnered with LaterPay, a service that simplifies payments on the Internet.

With LaterPay you can buy an article and access it  immediately — without registering — and agree to “pay later” for it. LaterPay will keep a tab for each article, and when you reach $5 you will be asked to register an account and pay. After you have done this you can start a new tab and keep accessing content.

You can also buy a subscription to This Is Reno. In this case you will be asked to create an account with LaterPay and then pay. LaterPay handles the payment services for us. LaterPay protects your data and will not sell your information to third parties.

Note: 14 days after purchasing your subscription and signing up with LaterPay, you will automatically be logged out if you have not revisited that content. This is a privacy measure. In order to access your subscription again, simply log in to login to LaterPay using the same credentials you filled in when you signed up. This same be done via the pop-up box on any Premium article by clicking “I already purchased this content” or by clicking here.

We hope you continue to enjoy This Is Reno’s local journalism and the experience with LaterPay!
