Stewart Father’s Day Powwow

June 14 - June 16

Celebrate Father’s Day weekend by experiencing American Indian heritage, history and pride! 

Bring the entire family to experience American Indian heritage, history and pride. The historic and former Stewart Indian School (1890-1980) comes alive with more than 200 dancers, Indian tacos, 30+ arts and crafts vendors. Beautiful and colorful, it will be fun for the entire family and admission is FREE! The popular and colorful Grand Entry takes place each day of the event (see times below).

The Stewart Father’s Day Powwow benefits the preservation of the historic Stewart Indian School in Carson City. It was named 2015 Event of the Year by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce.

Grand Entry Times
  • Friday, 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, 12 p.m.
Admission is FREE!
An alcohol and drug-free event.
