The Washoe County School District is inviting community members to review and comment on middle school math instructional materials being considered for use in its schools. The public can access the materials online at www.washoeschools.net/Page/17609 until Sept. 15, 2024.

“Public comment is an important part of our process as we review prospective materials that may be approved for use in our schools,” said Kindra Fox, WCSD’s director of secondary curriculum and instruction.

The district will provide public comments to the Board of Trustees as part of their recommendations later this year. The school board of trustees will consider the use of these materials at a future public meeting.
