- Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl. The Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl will take place this weekend and will span the region. Yarn lovers will be ‘crawling’ or traveling from yarn shop to yarn shop between Reno, and Auburn, California. Yarn stores have a lineup of events and activities designed to engage and inspire attendees of all skill levels. Participants will have the opportunity to embark on a self-guided tour. - Candlelight: A tribute to Taylor Swift. Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to locations like Reno. A string quartet will perform some of Taylor’s greatest hits in a mood-filled, candle-lit room. Friday at The Theater

In this time-bending musical adventure, Giselle learns about life’s triumphs and tragedies from the most accomplished man in Europe, the Chevalier de Saint-Georges. - Ark at Dark at Animal Ark. Wolves and coyotes howling and big cats growling at night: It’s Ark at Dark. Enjoy a guided flashlight tour and observe nocturnal predators in their element. It is suggested to bring children eight years of age or older due to the late hour. Saturday at Animal Ark.
- 7th annual Reno 10-miler and relay. Whether you want the 10 miles all to yourself or you want to have a relay of 2-3 people, we’re in this together. Enjoy seeing the beautiful University of Nevada, Reno campus for most of the race, which will include three “loops.” Sunday at UNR.
