Gordon Ramsay has built an empire of creative restaurant concepts, each with its own niche. While he is perhaps most well-known for his fine dining concepts, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips takes a more laid-back approach to food.

It opened in the Silver Legacy at The ROW in July, but there are other locations of Ramsay’s London concept. An ode to home, it is, the restaurant tycoon’s newest fish and chips venture.

If you were expecting white tablecloths and tie-clad servers, that’s not what you’ll get here. Instead, the dining room was transformed to look like a modern London Pub with plenty of U.K. flag designs and colors to punctuate the theme. The restaurant is actually counter-serve, and food comes out in cardboard boxes. Those details, however, don’t mean you won’t get a Ramsay-level meal out of the deal.

Diners get to build their own boxes, choosing a protein, chips (or French fries) and two dipping sauces. Of course, there is the classic fish and chips option, featuring deep-fried cod that is crispy and golden brown on the outside while remaining juicy and flaky on the inside. There are, however, lobster and shrimp, which are also deep-fried in the same crispy batter. The lobster comes in the form of tails. You can get the box as a combo or shrimp on its own.

Lastly, if seafood is not your favorite food, there is a chicken option. The chicken is again deep-fried, and these are not your average chicken strips. Cooked to perfection, they have the same crispy breading on the outside and a juicy, fresh center.

Each protein is atop a bed of French fries, or “chips” if you’re from the U.K. You can have your chips plain, simply sprinkled with natural sea salt, or you can order them dirty, with a few topping options.

While the most common meal is a box featuring these items (and sauces like Gordon’s Tartar, Sriracha Aioli, Southwest Ranch, Dijon Mayonnaise and a bold cocktail option), you can also get the pieces on their own or add additional proteins to your box. There’s even a just chips option.

Those with a sweet tooth can finish their meal with a shake in two quintessential London flavors—Biscoff and Sticky Toffee. There are also Sticky Toffee Pudding Pops. Of course, you can order a brew or soda with your meal, too.

Reno joins Orlando, Las Vegas, New York City and Washington DC as the other cities throughout the U.S. to house a Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips concept. It is located near the mogul’s other Reno restaurant, Ramsay Kitchen, on the casino’s second floor between El Jefe’s Cantina and The Buffet.
