Washoe County schools will be on a two-hour delay Tuesday with winter bus stops in effect, district officials said. Hazardous weather and road conditions were cited for the change.

District officials said area drivers should be aware that students will be waiting for buses and walking to schools at different times and potentially using different routes. They urged caution when driving.

Schools in Incline Village will be conducting distance learning for the day. That decision was made late Monday based on ongoing snowfall in the Lake Tahoe basin.

University of Nevada, Reno officials said its campus was open with classes and operations running on the regular schedule. The Redfield campus in south Reno is on a delay and will open at 10 a.m.
