The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is distributing holiday meal kits at a drive-through pick-up at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Event Center on Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon.
One meal kit will be provided per household. Each kit includes a whole roasting chicken, boxed mashed potatoes, boxed mac and cheese, green bean casserole fixings, baking mix, apple juice, oranges and apple pie. Additional canned goods will be included as well.
Those who plan to pick up a meal kit must pre-register on the Food Bank’s website and registration will close once all kits have been reserved. Register at https://fbnn.org/gethelp/holidaymeals/.
