‘Fireside Chats’ with County Commissioner Hartung to start next week

Washoe County Commission Chairman Vaughn Hartung invites residents in his district to attend “Fireside Chats,” a quarterly community discussion starting next week in Sparks.

“I always appreciate hearing from the citizens of Washoe County and those I directly represent in District 4,” Hartung said in a statement. “My goal is open dialogue directly with the community. I am here to represent them on local and regional issues, and I can do that best when I know the topics that matter to them.”

Events are from 6 to 7 p.m. at Spanish Springs Library, 7100 Pyramid Way in Spanish Springs on the following dates:

  • Dec. 10, 2019
  • March 10, 2020
  • June 2, 2020
  • Sept. 8, 2020
  • Dec. 8, 2020
