Would love to have someone please explain to me how all the new housing with rents starting at $1500 and up will help solve the lack of affordable housing in the Truckee Meadows?? If your lucky $1500 a month will get you a one bedroom apartment. Want a larger home for a family? Well good luck on finding anything to rent under $2000.00 a month. Want to buy? If you can find ANYTHING ANYWHERE for under $200,000 you better jump all over it. Yes it’s good to see new companies opening up here but how can your employees with families even consider moving here when they can’ afford the housing costs??
