The latest electric vehicles will be on display and available for the public to test drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13 at NV Energy, 6100 Neil Road.

Co-hosted by the Nevada Department of Transportation and NV Energy, the event will include Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model X, BMW i3 REX, Chevy Volt, and Mitsubishi Outlander.

Displays and educational demonstrations of electric vehicle charging stations will be available for hands-on viewing. Representatives will also be on hand to discuss methods of charging vehicles at home, work, and in public.

Those wishing to drive cars are asked to register in advance at https://www.nvenergy.com/blog/ev-guest-drive-2019. Pre-registration isn’t necessary for guests to view vehicles and exhibits.

“We are bringing back this popular event so that our customers can test drive some the most popular electric vehicles on the road today and learn more about the benefits of this technology,” Sarah Chatterjee, NV Energy director of renewable energy programs, said in a statement.
