Seniors Get Free Admission to Barracuda Championship on July 25

Free admission to the Barracuda Championship PGA Tour tournament for those age 55 and older is scheduled July 25, along with complimentary transportation to the event for those who sign up in advance.

“Senior Day” hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Montréux Golf & Country Club, 18077 Bordeaux Drive. For free admission, people must show identification at the gate to prove their birthdates. Also included is admission to the Washoe County tent on the 9th green.

Washoe County Senior Services is kicking off its Senior Ambassador Transportation program by providing complimentary shuttle service to Montréux. Transportation is based on seat availability and reservations are required.

Anybody wishing to make shuttle reservations is asked to call 775-328-2575.

Senior Services is also seeking volunteer drivers to help launch the transportation program. Those interested are asked to call 775-328-2588.
