Jacobs Entertainment last week released more than a dozen photos showing progress on the company’s work to revamp Reno’s west downtown area.

The company said it is creating a $25 million, half-mile-long stretch of public art on Fourth Street called Reno’s Neon Line. It is also remodeling and upgrading Gold Dust West and Sands Regency Hotel Casino, two properties the group purchased.

“A strong focus on public art is a cornerstone to any successful urban revitalization effort,” CEO Jeff Jacobs said. “We anticipate that bringing this exhibition to Reno will not only be of interest to locals, but will be an experience to behold for destination travelers as well.”

Jacobs said it was investing $1 billion into developing the area. View the photos of some of the work below.
