PHOTOS: Lavender and Honey Festival Fills Victorian Square

Date:

SPARKS — The 2019 Sierra Nevada Lavender and Honey Festival filled Victorian Square on Sunday with all manner of summertime treats.

Stalls sold locally harvested honey and lavender suited to Nevada’s growing requirements.

Other vendors added the aforementioned ingredients to a variety of items from baked treats, teas, spa items, barbecue, and even cotton candy.

A public participation art project was also on hand, the “Big Easel,” where attendees could write down messages about bringing more art to Sparks.
